Some things to ask yourself

  • Is there sufficient provision for all/any associated other elements of your business?
  • Is there sufficient lee-way to allow for business “blips” from time to time?
  • Is it properly costed, as well as being cost-effective and/or tax efficient in structure?
  • Are there any existing or planned borrowings that might impinge on future cash flow?
  • It may be appropriate to renegotiate some existing borrowings.

Always bear in mind that the bank does not own your business. You do. You are free, therefore, to change your bank – should it be advantageous for your business to do so.
